Greg and his friends had gone to a festival called Rock the Mountain. He invited me to go to it this year. I didn’t know what I was in for. It’s a heavy meatal music festival where you camp for the weekend and rock out.

I have to admit we went for a lot of years and it was never my favorite. I love all kinds of music but heavy metal is not one I love. I can’t stand screamy music and there is a lot of it at Rock the Mountain. Music would go late into the night making it hard to sleep. The days were hot with not much to do so we’d hang out in a creek.

I think I had enough fun this year to go back the next year. I just liked to be with Greg. I brought my sister with me and it became kind of a tradition. She came other years and then brought friends and eventually Ryan who she’s now married to.
