We went in for our first ultrasound in December. While the tech was looking at the ultrasound she mentioned something about baby A and baby B. I remember saying what, what do you mean? She’s like there are 2, you didn’t know? No we didn’t know. She said oh I thought they would of told you there were 2 heart beats when they listened to the heartbeats in your earlier appointments. Umm, no they didn’t.

I started bawling. I wasn’t over the fact that I was pregnant, now we were having 2! The tech apologized she felt bad. I was in such shock I thought I was going to pass out. They finished the ultrasound. Gave us some information about having twins. Showed us baby A and baby B on the ultra sound. They printed us some pictures and gave us a disc with the pictures on it. And then we left to process.

I started calling my family and friends right away to tell them. They were excited for us.
