At 5 months we continued feeding the twins baby oatmeal. I believe they started teething and were very slobbery. But honestly I don’t think teething was that bad. At least I don’t really remember it.
Before Jayse’s 2nd surgery to repair his palate he had a hole in the roof of his mouth so when he ate and used his tongue against his roof it would push the food up and through his nose.
She looks so thrilled when tying on her Halloween costume.
I loved these bumbo seats. It was so nice to set the kids in. We could feed them in it and they could entertain themselves.
This is from Holden’s baptism.
I got my first DSLR at this point – my Nikon D60. I am so glad, the picture quality is so much better. As I’m going through these pictures the focus is so much improved. Way more usable pictures.
Jaelee’s hair was getting longer and standing straight up. It became so funny. People would stop us and comment.
Love baby feet and toes!
Those red bumps on Jaelee’s chest we found out was eczema. It got so bad we had to get prescription steriod cream for her. To help with it we had to rub her entire body with vaseline every night. Her jammies would get heavy over time because of all the vaseline in them.
We created a bed time routine with the twins. Every night we’d do a bath and then put their jammies on. We’d use a Johnson & Johnson lavender lotion that had the most delicious smell. It was supposed to smooth them and make them think of bed. Then we’d read a book and put them to sleep.
I think it worked because they slept through the night from 4 months on.
