It is a tradition around Halloween time for us to take the kids to the pumpkin patch/maze. Last year we went to Farmstead and this year we went to Linder. Both places are a lot of fun and offer a lot for the kids to do. After my color run I went home and showered and then we headed to Linder Farms. (Lots of pictures ahead)
The kids wanted to start with the slide as you can see Cinderella also joined us this year.
Of course we had to take pictures with the cut outs and tires.
Jaelee wanted to ride the barrel train but Jayse was not about it at all. So Jaelee and Cinderella did the loop around the place and Greg and Jayse went to the pumpkin sling shot.
After the barrel train ride the kids went on the swings. They both LOVED the swings.
Next was the bounce houses. Jayse didn’t want to go in there at first but after seeing Jaelee he decided he wanted to go in. I was worried because last time he was on one of the big bouncy slides Greg had to go rescue him once he got to the top but he got up there and went right down and seemed to really have fun. Greg was on Cinderella duty.
After the bouncy area we thought it would be time for a break. We ate some mini donuts and had some hot cocoa.
More cut out pictures and then a quick run through the hay maze.
This was the first year the kids were big enough to jump on the trampoline. Jaelee was the first to go and she just jumped right up there got strapped in and started jumping. She was jumping up and down front and back and really liked it. When it was Jayse’s turn I wasn’t sure he would go but he did and really seemed to like it.
Then it was one more turn down a bouncy slide before we got on the hay ride to take us to the pumpkin patch. It was a little late in the season so pumpkins were slim pickins but we managed to find one for each of us. By this time it was getting really cold and windy and had even started to rain. When we got back from the pumpkin patch we had our pumpkins weighed and decided it was time to go since we were all pretty chili.
It was a lot of fun and I am so glad we were able to continue our tradition of going.
