Jump Creek Falls

I had heard of Jump Creek Falls before and had always wanted to go check it out.  Since Greg and I have started to lead a more active life I thought it would be the perfect time.  The day we went the weather could not have been more perfect, it was so warm.  Greg wore his adventure hat and was looking good.  We had to drive for about an hour before we got to Jump Creek Falls.  The hike to the falls was fairly easy, there was an area where we had to cross a small creek and Jaelee slipped and fell into the water but it didn’t affect her at all she was still running and ready to go.

When we got the waterfall it was really pretty neat.  We hung out there for a bit looking at the water and playing on rocks.  When we got back to the jeep the kids and I took another hike up the other side of the mountain, it was a bit steeper but was really neat when we got up to the top.  We could see the top of the waterfall.  It was a really great day!

The kids and I thought this grass coming out of the rocks looked like Greg’s beard LOL.
