Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us for a quick trip in the middle of July.  We packed a lot of stuff into the weekend they were here.  Thursday Greg and I had to work so they took the kids to the movies to see Monsters University.  That evening, we took them to Eagle Island so the kids could play in the water.  It was later in the evening so it was a little chilly with the sun going down.  None of the adults lasted long in the water.  The kids, especially Jayse loved the water though.

When we got back to the house we had a little birthday party for the kids.  It was a great idea by Greg’s parents.  Since they couldn’t be here for the kids’ birthday they had a little party when then could be.  The kids got chocolate cake and presents.  I think it was a lot of fun for them!

The next day I had to work but Greg was able to take his parents out on our boat.  They said they had a lot of fun.  LaRee was able to sun bath and they both got to see some beautiful Idaho landscape.

That night we took them to a drive in movie.  We watched the first movie – Epic – but were all too tired for the double feature and left to head home to bed.

They had to leave fairly early the next day, we took a quick few photos and they were off.  Even though it was short we had a lot of fun and are so glad when we get to spend time with them!

That night the kids requested a camp out in the living room.
