August 3rd – Monsters University & Man of Steel was playing at the drive-in theater so we decided to go.

We first stopped at dairy queen and got some blizzards, yum yum.

When we got close to the theater the traffic started to get pretty heavy.  We ended up being completely stopped quit a ways from the theater.  We have been to the drive-in several times and I had never seen it this busy before.  We were about an hour early and it took us about the whole hour to get into the drive-in.  There were so many cars left still behind us and not long after we got it they had to start rejecting all the cars.

Once in we got settled for the movie.  We brought our roll up mattress and put it in the back of the jeep.  It is so comfortable watching a movie from there.  Most of the time we only make it through the first movie but we wanted to see the Man of Steel also so we rallied and stayed for both features.  Jaelee fell asleep after Monsters University but Jayse stayed up for both movies.  I didn’t think Man of Steel was all that good and Greg didn’t really like it either but Monsters University was great!
