August 23rd – We went to the Discovery Center in Reedsport.  I thought it was a lot of fun.  It was interesting to see the history.  

After the discovery center the kids hung out with Grandma and Greg and I went crabbing with his dad.  The crabbing was crappy.  I think we got one on the trip.  However, I did get to see lots of sea lions.  I thought that was cool.  I couldn’t really get a good picture of them though.  Everytime we got close enough to one it would duck into the water.

That night we went to the beach and had a nice bonfire and continued to crab.  The crabbing was just as crappy.  But the weather was the nicest I think it has ever been while I’ve been at the beach at night.  There was no wind and it was warm.  I think I just had a t-shirt on and didn’t even need a jacket.  It was perfect just hanging out there with family.
