While I was at work Oct. 1 the school called me.  I thought it was odd because it was in the afternoon and the kids were already gone.  It was the twins teacher  – Mrs. McKinley.  She told me there had been an incident at the school.  I was preparing for the worst.

She told me that while they were working on a project Jaelee had cut her hair!  She said she just took each side and cut.  She said when she asked Jaelee why she did it she said because her hair was getting in her way so she just cut it off.  I wasn’t upset it’s only hair after all.  Their teacher was grateful that it wasn’t a big deal.

When I picked up the kids I saw what Jaelee had done and it wasn’t too bad and it was pretty even so I just left it.  From then on I’ve made sure her hair is back so it doesn’t get in her way anymore!
