During the night Friday, Dec. 6th we got a lot of snow!  I was happy that we had snow for once on the weekend where we could actually play in it.  The first thing Jaelee wanted to do when she got up was go play in the snow.

She got her snow pants and gear on and headed straight outside.  She played in the yard for a bit, trying to make snow men and laying in the snow making angels.

Then her dad went outside and showed her how to sled down the little hill by our house.  She had so much fun!  After a while Jayse finally made his way out, at first only in his pajamas and then when he saw how much fun Jaelee was having went back in to get more snow gear on for himself.  He couldn’t find his gloves so he was using his sisters scarf that has mittens at the end.  I thought it was pretty cute of him to find that and use it and not come out whining that he couldn’t find his gloves.  He just found the scarf and made it work!

After Greg was tired of pushing the kids on the hill we came back to the house and the kids continued to play outside in the yard.  Jaelee made a small snowman in our window seal.  After we were all played out we came inside to enjoy some hot cocoa and cookies.  Here’s hoping we have a few snowy days like that this year!
