Jaelee had her second dance recital on Dec. 21st (my birthday).  My mom and brothers were able to make it.  She just loves the attention she gets from it.

Before the recital I have to take her early to the dress rehearsal.   Between the rehearsal and the show we had an hour or so to go get something to eat. She of course chose her favorite place, McDonalds!

Her performances were so cute!  We had very bad seats though, right in front of us was the speaker and I had a hard time getting good photos and Greg didn’t get the greatest video either.  During intermission I went and got her from back stage and brought her to see all the family there to see her.  She was very excited to see a bouquet of flowers.  Besides all the attention this is her second favorite part.  She loves getting flowers.

After her recital my mom took the kids so Greg and I could go have dinner for my birthday.  My brothers went with us.  We went to the new Village of Meridian to eat and have dinner.  It’s really neat there in the winter; they have ice skating, lights, little fire/warming stations and a water light show – like in Vegas only on a much smaller scale.
