Light Painting

Greg was camping the last weekend in July so the kids and I just played at home.  Jayse was not feeling very good so Jaelee and I did most of the playing.  We tried light painting for the first time.  Light painting is basically where you slow the cameras shutter speed to 10 – 15 seconds.  This allows you to draw with light and the camera captures it.  We had bought a few finger laser lights at the craft store to try this out.  I also made some colorful dots on a black background and then sent the jpg to my tablet and pulled it up as an image and used that to draw with as well.  It was a lot of fun.  We played games with it – drawing things and then having the other people guess what they drew.  We ended up doing it 2 nights.  The first night just Jaelee and I did it the second night Jayse was feeling a bit better and wanted to try.
