Every year we go to the Western Idaho Fair.  I enter photos into the photo contest and we like to go see if I won anything.  This year Greg got some passes from work to get us into the fair for free.  Him and Jayse had to go into the service entrance and Jaelee and I met them on the inside.  We started at the expo where the photos are.  This year I won a first place ribbon for my photo of Greg and the kids.  I got a second place ribbon for our family ghost picture and I got nothing for my picture of the lighthouse.  It is always fun to see my photos at the fair whether or not I win anything.

After we view my photos we go next door to where the animals are.  On the way over there we had to stop at the cut outs and grab a few photos.  The kids like to see all the animals.  There favorite is the little chicks.  You can see some hatching if you watch close enough.  This year Jaelee also got to pet a rabbit.  Next we went across the way to where the horses are.  We found a beautiful donkey to pet.

After the horses we went and got some snow cones.  It was hot!  We went over and sat at some picnic tables while we ate them and a guy came guy on a tricycle juggling and gave us a little show.

Then we went to the petting zoo where we met up with my friend Theresa and her family.  Which is always fun for the kids.

After the petting zoo we had to head over to the rides.  The kids had been so excited about it and didn’t want to wait anymore.  They were at a great height this year and got to ride most of the rides.  This was the first year we bought the wrist bands so we didn’t have to bother with tickets and it was awesome.  They got to go on as many rides as they wanted.

After rides it was starting to get dark so we were ready to go.  We went over to get the little doughnuts and look at the exotic animals.  We then headed home.
