Greg’s parents were able to come visit us in early September.  Unfortunately their visit was short.  They got her late Friday night and left Monday morning but we packed some fun stuff in those few days.  On Saturday morning they went to Cole and Kenzie’s soccer games.  We stayed home and got the boat ready to head out to the lake.

We went to our new favorite place at Lucky Peak.  When we got there we got to see some people playing in the water with rocket type things on their feet.  It was pretty cool to see.  We had Darin’s family, us, Greg’s parents and my friend Jamie.  We couldn’t fit everyone in the boat at once so we had to take several trips.  Greg and Darin took a load of all the stuff and our dog Bo to our spot for the day.  Greg then came back and made several trips from the dock to our spot to get us all there.  The water was a lot lower than when we were there a couple weeks before so we had a lot of sand to play on.  The docks however were not in the water so we didn’t get to play and jump off them.  It was a blast though!  The kids played in the water and mud.  The adults sun bathed and talked.  Greg made us lunch on the grill.  He forgot his spatula and had to use a shovel to turn the hamburgers.  After we ate Greg started to run people out on the tube.  Jaelee was the first to go.  While pulling people on the tube Greg dumped his mom out and threw Jess out of the boat!  We are lucky no one was injured.  It was a great day and I am thankful that Greg was able to work on that old boat and get it going so we could make memories like this!

After the day on the lake we went back to Darin’s and ate dinner and made smores.
