This year for Halloween I was able to go to the kids school for their party.  They only got to put their costumes on at their last recess and for the last hour of school during their party.  There were a bunch of moms there and we each were doing a game station.  I did toilet paper bowling – the kids had to roll small pumpkins and knock over a stack of toilet paper.  It seemed like they all really liked it.  After their school party we headed home to get ready for trick or treating.  My friend and her family came over to go with us.  This year it seemed that only 30-40% of the homes in our neighborhood had their lights on but the kids still had fun and got lots of candy.  This year for the first time Greg stayed home to hand out candy and we did not have very many kids come by and were left with a bunch of the candy we had bought.
