Where the heck has the time gone?  I was all caught up and thought I would be able to stay caught up but here we are in April and I’m 5 months behind again!  Well let’s try to recap the last several months.  We made some personal pan pizzas, Greg made some apple pies from all the apples the kids and I got at the orchard and enjoyed some beautiful fall colors.

In early November I went on a girls trip to McCall.  It was a blast.  I had so much fun that I didn’t even bother taking a single picture!  The weather was awesome it was a bit warm and the house we stayed at was amazing.  It was a bit old but beautifully remodeled.  I’m ready for the next one, ha!

The week after I got back from our girls trip we had a huge snow storm.  It was very odd for this time of year.  With the snow was also really cold temperatures.  I think about 20ish.  BURR.  I definitely was not ready for that.  We hadn’t even had time to take our family pictures yet in the beautiful fall colors.  Beacause the weather was so cold we really couldn’t even go out and play in it.  Your face just hurt being out there.  However, my snow bird Jaelee had to go out there a bit and make snow angels and snowmen.  While poor Jayse was sick with strep throat again.

I like to get my Christmas cards done before Thanksgiving so we quickly took family pictures outside in the front of our house.  It was snowy and cold!  After we got the good family pictures Jaelee had the idea of taking a family picture while we throw snow.  Jayse did not want to do it but I thought it was a great idea.  We all got in position and scooped up some snow.  Jayse refused too.  And just as the camera fired we threw our snow.  My large pile of snow fell down Jayse’s back, oops.  He was not happy about it and ran off crying into the house.  Pictures were over.  But the one picture we got throwing the snow I loved and used it for our card.

For Thanksgiving we just stayed at our house with just our little family.  We made all the fixins except the pies.  I bought them at Kneaders and they were delicious as was everything else.  I got a little fancy with our table and decorated it but it was nice.

The day after Thanksgiving we decorated for Christmas.  Jaelee got on the roof and helped her dad put up the lights.  It was cute seeing her up there.
