I’ve been wanting to volunteer for Help Portrait for years and I finally had the chance.  If you haven’t heard of it you should check it out here.  I was so excited to help this year but unfortunately I got sick.  I didn’t want to miss it so I went anyway.  It was really awesome to be apart of the event.  I was a photographers assistant which meant I helped with posing and running the photographers SD card to the editing station for the photos to be edited, printed and framed.  We didn’t have as many people show up as we wanted to so it was a little slow.  That worked out for me since I was sick.  I ended up going home a bit early and by the time I got home I had a 102 fever.  The next week I was the sickest I think I have ever been.  I ended up with strep throat, an infection in my lungs and an ear infection.
