This year for Christmas the kids woke us up for the first time.  Usually I’m so excited I wake them up but Jayse went to the bathroom early in the morning and saw Santa came so he woke his sister and us up.  We also woke up to a white Christmas, it had snowed during the night.  Not enough to go play it but it was still nice.

We continued the tradition we started last year of making breakfast in the crockpot.  It’s the best having breakfast already done Christmas morning.  The kids inspected the presents they got from Santa and then wanted to start opening all their other presents.  We opened presents and then ate breakfast.  Then we just hung out the rest of the day munching and playing.  That night we let the kids sleep in the living room under (near) the Christmas tree.
