The day after their surgery the kids were still running around like crazy.  I was so surprised.  It seemed things were going to go so smooth.  I was busy doing something and Jaelee came and asked me for marshmallows for her fire.  Usually that means trouble because they have actually tried to start a fire before.  So I quickly came to see what she was doing.  I found she had made a fire but this time she drew the flame on paper and taped it to a stick and a paper towel roll.  It was so inventive.  I was very proud of her fire and had to get pictures of it.

I love this picture of her pretending to sleep because it’s exactly how she looks.  She sleeps with her favorite lady bug blanket.  She has her favorite corner and rubs it between her 2 fingers while still sucking her thumb.
