One of my cousins got back from a mission in Chile and our whole family was going to be together for his welcome home so they decided to combine it with this years family reunion.  We decided to head down on Friday. We got a hotel room for the weekend and the kids were super excited to swim and stay there.  On the way down I started to feel sick by the time we made it half way there I was really not feeling good.  When we arrived at our hotel the kids immediately wanted to go swimming.  I thought if I laid down for a bit I might feel better.  Greg took the kids to swim so I could rest.  After an hour I headed down to the pool to see the kids swim.  My mom had drive up and meet us at our hotel.  I got a few pictures of the kids swimming and then we were all hungry and decided to go eat.

I still was not feeling very good but wanted to go.  The restaurant we went to had a wait and I just couldn’t stand there and wait so I went and laid down in the car while Greg, my mom and the kids waited in line for a table.  When they got a table I still didn’t feel like moving so I stayed in the car a bit longer and finally made it in just as they were finishing dinner.  After dinner we headed to our hotel and went to sleep.

The next day the moment the kids got up they wanted to go swimming again.  I was feeling even worse so we just hung out in the hotel room until it was lunch time.  We ran over to the mall for lunch and I again couldn’t hardly walk so I laid in my car again.  I did manage to go inside after a bit and eat a piece of pizza with Greg and the kids.  After lunch Greg took me back to our hotel and he took the kids over to the hotel my Aunt and Uncle were staying at.  There the kids swam, played games and just ran around with all my cousins and family.  I spent that whole time sleeping.  Towards the evening I was getting really hungry so I called Greg and he ran and got me some food and more medicine.  My mom brought the kids back to the hotel when they were done playing.

By Sunday I was feeling a bit better.   I at least managed to shower and get out of bed.  When we checked out of the hotel we went to my Aunt and Uncles for their sons welcome home.  We just hung out there most of the day.  They had a big dinner planned at their place that evening.  We stayed had some dinner, which was delicious and then headed home.

I ended up sick for a whole week after we got back.  I went to the doctor and had an upper respiratory infection.  It was a big bummer that we had a chance to go out of town and I was sick the whole time.  I barely even saw my family but the kids had fun.  I only got the few pictures I took at the pool our first night there.  So here they are:
