We had a really busy April and I captured a lot of little things with my phone.
The kids had art gallery night at school. We got to go see all the art they had been working on through out the year. Jayse had soccer practice so Jaelee and I went after her soccer practice. Greg and Jayse were able to go later and look.
Jayse had to go to the hospital to get a CT scan so the Dr. could take a look at the bone in his ear before his surgery this summer.
The kids got to be “Big Boss” at school. Jaelee was first. Being big boss means on Friday of that week she got to be the first in line, pick out the games they played, chose the color marker used and be the calendar keeper. The weekend before we had to make a little booklet about her favorite things that had pictures she drew or that we took to illustrate those things. They then put that up on a wall at school all week. Then during the week all the other kids in class wrote a letter to her saying nice things about her. On Friday the teacher invited Greg and I to class to present her with the a book with all the letters from the kids and one from Greg and I and her teacher. I think this is such an awesome thing they do! The kids love the heck out of those books with all the letters.
The following Friday Jayse got to be the big boss. Greg and I again got to go to the school to watch him be the calendar keeper and be presented with his books of letters. Watching him at school I got to see just how shy my little guy is! He spoke so quiet while doing the calendar you could barely hear him. He loved the book with letters and we have had to read them many times since.
