A couple days after we got back from our weekend away my car started acting funny.  Jayse had a Dr.’s apt and after I dropped him back off at school my car didn’t want to go.  It wouldn’t shift and it was making a funny noise.  I made it to work and kind of forgot about it.  When I was heading to get the kids it seemed to be running ok.  Once I picked up the kids and we started to head home it was doing the same thing – not shifting and making noises.  I was not sure we were even going to make it home but we did.

That night Greg looked at my car and determined that it was 1 of 2 things and either was not good and was going to cost 1000s to fix.  My car isn’t even worth 1000s so we thought we might need to get a new one.

The next day Greg had to drive me and the kids to day care, drop me off at work and then go to work himself.  During that time we got in 2 fights over his excellent lack of driving skills and I thought we are not going to make it another day like this.  When I got to work I made an appointment to look at cars on my lunch.  For luch I took a company truck and met Greg at the dealership.  We ended up finding a car we liked and decided to get it so I didn’t end up going back to work because it took forever but I had a new to us car!

The kids really like it.  Jayse kept asking me when I was going to put a license plate on it.  3 days later when I finally got the car registered and I could put the plates on it he couldn’t wait for them to get on anymore so he got a screw driver and put them on all by himself.  I asked him why he wanted them on so bad and he said so everyone would know that it was my car.  That kid is so cute!
