We had the chance to borrow one of Greg’s friends RV for a weekend to go camping. We thought it would be fun to try somewhere new so Greg picked a lake up North near Stanley called Bull Trout. My brother and his friend decided to come to. We all crammed into the RV and headed out Friday after work.
As usual we didn’t leave as early as we wanted to and didn’t quit make it to our destination. It was getting dark and we were pretty tired so we pulled into a camp ground around 10 and planned to sleep there for the night. My brother and his friend were sleeping in a tent and Greg, the kids and I slept in the RV. Greg had started a fire and walked a bit away looking for more wood and while he was away there was a loud boom. It sounded like a bomb going off. Greg and my brother came back and looked through a fire and found that in the pit someone had left an unopened can of beer and when it got hot it blew up. I’m sure all our camping neighbors loved it! After that bit of fun we ended up going to be shortly after.
We woke up the next morning. Shoved my brothers tent and sleeping bags into the RV and took off for Bull Trout lake. There we spent the day in the water, fishing, frog hunting and riding bikes. I have to say having an RV was pretty nice just driving up and not really having to do much to set up camp. When we left the next morning I was really not feeling good so I was able to lay down in the back of the RV and just sleep on the way home. We made a quick stop at a hot springs but it was too hot and too early to test it out so we headed back home.
