After our world wind of picture taking at the temple everyone headed to downtown Portland.  The reception was being held at the marvelous Benson hotel.  We were able to take a bunch more pictures on the grand staircase.

Then it was time for the reception.  Alex’s family did a great job.  The room looked lovely with the tables and flowers.  We had some great food.  There were some loving toasts and I just loved the video from Kaitlyn’s brother Cody whose on a mission.  Kaitlyn and Alex were also going to have a reception in Georgia.  I wished I would of been able to attend it.  It was being held at the art museum there and I thought that was just awesome.  I am thankful that we were able to go to the Portland one.  We had a lot of fun.

After the reception most everybody went back to Reedsport.  Greg and I stayed in Portland.  We wanted to leave from Portland to head back home the next day and also go to the Portland zoo before we headed home.  Because we were in Portland and so close to Ikea Jaelee and I had to make a trip there.  We had a blast and spent several hours at Ikea.

We stayed with Scott and we went out to eat at the Margarita Factory where him and Greg had a shot I’ve never seen before.
