The kids had a Jamboree at Boise State.  It was crazy there were so many people there.  I think I read somewhere that our league has 6000-7000 football players and 700ish cheerleaders.  They were all at Boise State for the Jamboree plus all the parents.

It all seemed very well organized though.  Teams had times they needed to line up.  They would line up and then go get their picture taken.  They got to take the team picture on the famous blue turf.  Then the older kids got to play a scrimmage on the blue turf and all the younger kids played in the practice dome.

The team Jaelee cheers for was up before Jayse’s team so she went with the cheerleaders and football players to get pictures and then headed into the dome.  It was hard to get pictures in there because it was dark and they were pretty far away.  It was still neat too see her cheering there.

After the game we had some time to kill before Jayse’s but it wasn’t enough we could run home.  We decided to head down to the river and hang out.  The kids started to play in the mud and get dirty so we headed back to the car.  We had packed lunch so we sat in the car and ate and watched Malcom in the Middle on our phone, LOL.

When it was Jayse’s turn he got in line with his team to head in to get pictures and we headed over to the dome.  The actual play time for the Jamboree was really short I think it was only 16 minutes.  Jayse had a lot of fun though.  I think the whole experience was pretty exciting.
