We did our annual trip to the Fair this year.  I remembered my camera but forgot my SD card so all the pictures are from my phone which is a bummer because I love getting nice pictures while we are at the fair.

One of the first things we always do is go into the expo to look at the pictures and see if I won any ribbons.  This year they mixed up my pictures and put both of the pictures I had of the kids in the same class so I was basically competing against myself.  I got a 2nd place ribbon for Jaelee’s picture and a 4th place ribbon for Jayse’s.  I think if Jayse’s picture would of been in the candids class it would of won….just saying.

After we looked at pictures we decided to do rides before it got too hot.  The kids could just about ride every single ride this year and they went on everything they could. They rode rides for hours until all of our legs were tired.  After rides we let them each play one game.  Jayse won a ball and Jaelee won a funky looking stuffed dog.

After rides we went and got mini donuts which is always a must at the fair for us.

Before we left we told the kids they could pick 2 rides to go on again.  We ended up finding a few rides they hadn’t been on at all and they ended up going on about half a dozen more.  This was the longest we have ever been at the fair.  Both of the kids favorite ride was the swings.  They also spent a lot of time in the fun house.

As we headed out we did a quick trip through the petting zoo.  I love being able to take the kids to the fair every summer.  I hope it’s something they always remember.
