Jaelee finally got her cast on 2 1/2 weeks after she broke her arm.  The doctor wanted to wait as long as possible because he wanted her arm to start to heal and create this kind of stickiness so that when he put the cast on he could move the bones around and still have them kinda stick together.  It’s all pretty gross if you ask me.

Anyway she was really excited to get her cast.  When the doctor put it on he had to move her arm and the bones into position and she screamed her head off.  She was screaming so loud and all I could do was laugh.  I’m not sure why I was laughing I think it was probably because her scream was so loud it seemed a bit much.  I tried talking to her and distracting her from what the doctor was doing but it made no difference.  Luckily it didn’t take very long and as soon as she had her cast on she was completely fine.

She of course picked the color pink.  At first she wanted to still wear her sling but now she is just fine and even getting along quit well with one arm.
