It was getting close to Halloween and we hadn’t had a chance to take the kids to the pumpkin patches yet. They had received free passes into the Farmstead so we knew we had to go!

Jayse had a Dr.’s apt on the Monday before Halloween so we thought after his Dr.’s apt we’d have some time to take them.  It actually worked out great.  The weather was pretty nice and there were not very many people there.  The kids got to do all the activities multiple times.  Each year at the Farmstead they add new activities, this year they had a zip line, duck races & a fishing pond.  These were some of the kids favorites!

Once we had our fill of all the activities we took the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins.  We headed home just as the sun was setting.  It was a great time!
