The day before Jayse’s surgery, Jaelee got her cast off.  Because she has broken something before I knew she would hate the saw and noise so I had tried to prepare her.  I keep telling her there was a saw and it was going to be loud and scary but it wouldn’t hurt her.

All that prepping did nothing.  She screamed her head off and thrashed around.  I had to hold her down while the nurse cut her cast off.

When the cast came off she would not let her arm go.  She kept holding it with the other hand.

The took another xray to see how the bone was healing.  It still had a long way to go so the Dr. had us put a brace on her and wanted her to wear that for another 4 weeks.
