Easter this year was a bit weird because we lived in our old house for 6 years before moving to Kuna and we had traditions and did things a certain way that we couldn’t recreate at the new place.
We have always done our own Easter egg hunt in our yard but we didn’t have a enough places in our back or front yard to hide eggs to do it in our yard this year. So we went to the school that is just down the street. The kids sat in the back of my car while Greg and I hid all the eggs. We have so many that it got to the point where we were literally just dropping the eggs on the ground in plain site just to get ride of them.
Once all the eggs were on the playground we let the kids go find them. Those two are quick egg finders. It didn’t take long before they both had 2 full baskets of eggs. It had started to rain a little so they found them all in just the nick of time.
When we got home they got to cracking those eggs open fast so they could get to all the candy. Then we started to color our hard boiled eggs.
Once we colored all the eggs we pretty quickly started to crack them open so we could make deviled eggs and head over to Darin and Jess’ for Easter dinner. I also attempted to make a cute bunny cake. It was a disaster but still tasted good.
