After months of looking at houses and putting in offers only to have them countered with multiple bids we finally got a house.  We had looked at this house weeks before but decided not to put in an offer because it needed a lot of work in the yard and had been a rental for 20 years.  But when the price in the house dropped we thought it was worth it to put in an offer.  Our offer was accepted and after a horrible inspection experience and some more fixes on the house we closed on our house on May 12th.

We got the keys to the house so the kids and I headed over there to check it out.  We brought some sandwich food with us and had a quick picnic at the house.

It’s 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.   So the kids each have their own bedroom and bathroom.  SPOILED!  We also have a guest room which I am so excited about.  I hope we have more people come stay with us.  It also has a huge deck for BBQing and hanging out.  And one of my favorite parts is the fireplace.  I can’t wait for a cold winter night by the fireplace.  We have great neighbors and love the area we live in.  We are so happy with our house!  The only thing that could be better is a housekeeper to help keep this place clean.
