Georgia Day 2

Our stay in Georgia was exactly what we needed after the stress of buying a house and moving.  We were spoiled.  We ate the most wonderful food and Sharlee made the most delicious deserts.  I ate SO many cookies and this reeses desert she made was divine!  They even shofered us around we didn’t even have to drive.

After having an easy morning we went for a drive around the University of Georgia campus where Casey works.  The campus is beautiful and the football stadium is huge!  It was really fun driving around seeing it.  After the campus drive we went to the agricultural chicken farm.  I was amazed at how many different kind of chickens there are.  There are some really beautiful ones.

Casey got a few out for the kids to pet.  It was pretty funny watching him catch his golden pheasant looking one.  That bird did not want to be cornered and caught and it put a pretty good fight.  Casey won in the end and the kids were able to pet it.  Jaelee even got to keep on of the birds pretty feathers.  Casey also gave her an egg and she LOVED that little egg.  She made a little nest for it out of paper towels and that egg traveled all the way to Orlando with us.  We had to part with it before we went home though.

I just can’t emphasize enough how much fun and needed this day was!
