Georgia Day 3

We had gone past this outdoor park that had animals the day before but it was closed so we decided to go back the next day.  It’s a free park that you just walk around.  They actually had some really neat animals in it for being free!  We saw bears, alligators, otters, owls and more.  Pretty neat I think.

After walking around the park we went back to the house where Jaelee became a construction worker and Jayse begged Ryan to play on the Xbox with him.  Later in the afternoon they all went outside to run through the sprinkler.  Greg even joined in.  They had a lot of fun.  The kids made up a game where you had someone in the middle and everyone else had to run through the sprinkler with out getting tagged.  If you got tagged you became it.  I guess that’s basically tag, LOL.  Anyway they had a ton of fun playing in the water. They also took turns doing tricks through the sprinkler.

That evening we went to eat dinner at the Butt Hutt, with a name like that you know it’s gonna be awesome.  And it was!  On the menu was Buttwiches, Buttdogs and Butt Plates.  I think Greg and I both got the Butt Plates.  We also tried some new foods, I had this chicken soup that was creamy and delicoius and Greg had a chili like soup that was good too.  We tried fried pickles, okra and fried pig skins.  It was all pretty good except I did not enjoy the okra, kinda snotty.  It was exactly the kind of place we had hoped to go to while in the South.

On our way back to the house we stopped and got boiled peanuts.  They sell them everywhere in the South and we knew we wanted to try them.  I will say they are an acquired taste.  None of us liked them.  It was very weird.
