The kids got free passes to Roaring Springs through the reading program at school.  They had to be used before the end of June and we only had one weekend to go.  It was a bit chilly but because we only had that day to go we went anyway.

Because the weather wasn’t hot there were not that many people there.  This is kinda how things had been going for us – Orland0 – which had been working in our favor!

We would go on a ride and then lay on the hot pavement to warm up.  We stayed in the wave pool a lot to because the water seemed to be a bit warmer there.

We did the lazy river too but Jaelee got too close to an edge where the water flows in and she got sucked into the water and almost drown freaking me and her out.  So after that we went on other rides.

We stayed for a good 4 hours and then headed to Darin and Jess’s to swim swim some more!  Greg met us there.

These kids had one epic summer, they were at the boy and girls club this summer and got to go on a field trip every week as well.  We also took them to see Finding Dory.  This is a summer for the record books I tell you.
