We enrolled the kids in optimist cheerleading and football again this year.  Jaelee had cheer camp in the middle of August.  It’s just a day camp but they have a lot of fun. They decorate their shirts before the camp and then the day of they decorate their tent.  During the day they learn cheers and had a jump contest.

Then they watch a bunch of the high school cheer squads do some cheers and then they showed the parents the cheers they had learned.  Then the football and cheer coaches do some fun activities.  After all the fun they hand out awards for spirit squads and the jump competition.

This year Jaelee’s team won the spirit award for her division.  It was exciting and the girls were so proud of their work.  Her coach has done an excellent job.
