Every year we go to the fair and as the kids get older it gets more fun because they can go on more rides.

We entered at a different gate than usual and there was a butterfly tent right inside the entrance so we thought we would check it out.  It was pretty neat.  Butterflies were everywhere and they gave you a wand (q-tip) with sugar water on it to put butterflies on.  They would just land on you, we had a good time in there.  I even had a passenger try to leave on my toe.

Our tradition has been to go look and see if I won anything with my photos and then go see the animals.  This year we started with my photos but didn’t go to the animals.  I submitted 3 photos like usual and got a first and third place ribbon.  Another good year!

After looking at my pictures we went to the rides hoping since it was early the lines wouldn’t be too long.  We were right and the kids got right on most of the rides.  They rode every ride they could and we spent hours there.

After the rides we had some lunch and treats and then headed home.  Another good year at the fair.
