After Jaelee’s game we stopped and picked up our old neighbor Hannah to have her spend the night. Jaelee has really missed her and we were just so busy/sick this summer we hadn’t had a chance to see her. So we finally made it happen.
The kids had a blast together and on Sunday I took Jaelee and Hannah to Art in the Park. Jayse went with Greg to shoot guns where he got no pictures, bummer.
Here are pictures of the girls though. They are so cute, they decided to dress fancy for day with makeup, jewelry and high heels for Hannah (even though I told them it was a lot of walking!)
We did our tradition of parking at the mall and riding a school bus to the park. It is just so much better to do this than search for parking and walking a mile or more to the park, just love it.
Anyway the first thing we had to do was the art tent for the kids. They got to paint, draw and use chalk. The girls came up with some great pieces.
Then from there we just walked around and looked at the art. When I couldn’t handle the complaining about their feet being tired anymore we stopped by the stage and got some lunch. Hannah kicked off her shoes and she and Jaelele danced around to the music. It’s so cute seeing them together again. They just have so much fun.
We didn’t stay much longer after that because the girls were tired of walking. There was one artist though that I wanted to see and get some pieces from so we went to his booth. The girls got to play a game at another booth and won chapstick and a water bottle. The artist at the tent I was at was very generous and drew a cool little dragon picture on Hannah’s water bottle.
After that we headed back to the bus and went home.
