When we went to the Farmstead with Jenelle, Greg was hunting and didn’t go with us. We usually get our pumpkins there but I wanted to wait until Greg was with us so we could get them together.

On the 24th before Halloween we wanted to go get pumpkins for carving. We thought we would be able to go back to the Farmstead and just go to the pumpkin patch. When we got there though it was raining horribly but we decided to still go and just get our pumpkins fast. We waited in line to get in and then they told us we had to pay the full price, they don’t have just pumpkin patch pricing.

Because of this and the rain we decided to just go get pumpkins at the grocery store. It’s a bummer we missed our tradition but that’s ok because we still did something as a family.

We went to the Albertsons by our house and each picked out a pumpkin. The kids were trying to get the biggest pumpkins and I like unusual ones. By the time we got home it was too late to start carving. So we saved that for the next day.
