On Christmas Eve Greg went duck hunting. The kids and I slept in.

Jaelee had been wanting to cut her hair again. So when she woke up she showered and we cut her hair to her shoulders. She looks awfully cute and loves.

It is tradition that they get to open 1 gift on Christmas Eve. They open the gift they picked out for each other. Of course that’s the first thing they wanted to do when they woke up. I told them they had to wait until Greg was back and while we were waiting they needed to clean their rooms and get them ready for all their new stuff. They were thrilled with that but did it.

When Greg got home we let them open their 1 gift. Jaelee got a 3D puzzle from Jayse and she got him a flying helicopter. They played with their gifts for a while then Jaelee and I went outside to play in the snow.

We tried to make a snowman but the snow was really powdery and didn’t stick very well. We managed to make 3 small balls and put together a snowman. Jaelee has had a cough for weeks now and while out there she got into a coughing fit and so we didn’t get to add eyes and a nose to our snowman we went back in where it was warm.

For dinner we kept it simple and ate pizza. We watched a Christmas movie and then went to bed so Santa could come.
