I took so many pictures I had to break this day into 2 posts.
After we were all tired of walking around and looking at sculptures we headed back to the cabin. While Amy tried to put her youngest down for a nap we went outside to sled some more. After a bit Greg decided to jump into the hot tub, which made everyone want to get in the hot tub. The first to get in with him was Jaelee, then Hunter then me and Jayse. It was a bit cozy in there with all of us.
Jaelee wanted to go to the night light parade again so we had to get out of the hot tub and get ready. The weather up in McCall this year was dry and freezing. I think the high for the whole time we were there was 12. Luckily it was sunny. However for the night light parade it was dark and freezing. We all made sure to dress warm but it was still pretty cold. We went and got all our fun gear for the parade and waited for it to begin. I jumped ahead of everyone and got some pictures of the firefighters that were leading the parade with their torches. I met back up with the group after. I kept trying to run ahead and get a picture of the kids and Greg in the parade but they thought it was funny to run after and follow me. Somehow I still managed to get a few pictures.
After the parade we hung around downtown waiting for the fireworks to start. It was a good 30 minutes of just standing there and it was freezing! We all managed to make it though and watch a great fireworks display.
After the fireworks we went back to the cabin and had some delicious dinner. Amy had made a white chicken chili soup. It was perfect and delicious. That night we just hung out and played a few card games. It was a great first day.
