Discovery Center – A T-Rex Named Sue

At the local Discovery Center they had a full T-Rex skeleton on display. It is the largest and most complete T-Rex found in South Dakota. We thought it would be fun to go see it while it was here. Neither Greg nor I had seen a T-Rex skeleton so we were more excited than the kids.

The Discovery Center has a lot of fun science and hands on activities for kids. Jaelee and Jayse had a blast and we all loved seeing the Dinosaur. One of our favorites beside the Dinosaur was the newcaster monitor and green screen background. We all played around being a newcaster and becoming invisible on the screen.

The had a dark room where you could go in and a flash would go off and leave a shadow of your position on the wall. The kids loved that as well.

Glad we got to go.
