Jaelee Outdoors

Jaelee had been bugging me to get her a small swimming pool to play in. We’d had a few warm days and she was dying to go out and play in water even though it was only the beginning of April. Just playing in the sprinkler was not cutting it for her.

I told her I wasn’t going to buy a swimming pool but if she wanted to use the money she’d earned for chores she could. She agreed so we went to Walmart to look for a little swimming pool. She only had $12.

The only pools that she could buy she did not want. She ended up spending all her money on small other items she could play with outside. She got a ribbon, jump rope, bubbles, skibo, kite and water balloons.

We went home and she played all afternoon with all of her new stuff. She still has been obsessed with her ribbon. Even broke it a few times by now and dad has fixed it for her each time. Uncle Hunter even got in on some of the ribbon action. She’s even come up with some routines she’s had Greg and I out there to watch.
