Father’s Day at the Lake

For Father’s Day Greg said he just wanted to spend the day at the lake fishing. Easy enough for us. We had a lot of snow this year and the reservoirs were full with water. They were letting a bunch out into the river and had parts of the dam open with water flowing out like we had never seen before. It was pretty cool.

The lake was busy. We were lucky to snag a good spot when a group of campers were leaving. Just as we were setting up our stuff some other people showed up, we were a bit annoyed someone else was joining our spot because we pick spots away from people on purpose so we can let our dogs run around and not have to worry about them bothering other people.

It turned out though that the group was a girl form Jayse’s class and her family who also live in our neighborhood. It turned out to be great, they didn’t mind the dogs and the kids had someone else to play with.

We had a nice day just chilling, fishing and hanging out. The dogs got to play fetch and wear themselves out. Greg wasn’t able to catch any fish but he just enjoys being out there either way.

Some how even though it was Father’s Day I didn’t manage to get a single photo of Greg. Whoops. Here’s the photos I did get though.
