Boise State Game

I was able to get some tickets to the second to last home Boise State game against the Air Force from my work. Greg and I hadn’t been in a while and we had never taken the kids.

We got to the game early to tailgate. My work had a tent with food, tv and drinks.

While in line getting food I was given a raffle ticket. By the time I got to the end of the food line they had called my number and I won a Boise State t-shirt.

We were able to watch the band as they played while marching by before the game. Once we were full and the gates were open we decided to head into the game. We were walking towards our seats and as we kept going up I started to realize that our tickets were for the highest possible seats. I guess that’s what happens when they are free.

We had climbed up all the stairs and made it tour seats and Jaelee and I then had to go to the bathroom. We went all the way back down and up and after that second climb I was done for. My legs were jello and I was staying there until the we left.

It was really cold out and we wore a bunch of clothes and blankets but being up at that height with concrete against our backs it was cold and windy. We decided that if the score had a wide spread at half time we were going to leave.

We had a great time. There is an excitement being at a game that you don’t get form watching it. There was music, fireworks, fog and dancing. We had a great time.

We were however freezing and at halftime BSU was winning by a good margin so we decided to head home.
