The kids and I made it to the opening of the Spirit of Boise this year. Jaelee and I went 2 years ago and had a lot of fun (here).

We got there at 6:45 in the morning and there were already a bunch of people there. We got in a line for a balloon and had to wait. They started to blow the balloons up, it’s pretty cool just to see that.

This year there were way more kids then there were 2 years ago, it was kinda of a bummer because they really rushed us through to make sure all the kids could get a ride in the balloons. They were putting as many kids as they could in the basket, up to 4. So my kids rode with another kid. The balloon ride was way fast literally up and down. When we went 2 years ago Jaelee got to go by herself and she was in the balloon for a bit. Jayse was kind of bored and said he didn’t want to go back next year.

I still think it’s fun to see those balloons even though the kids rides in it weren’t that fun this year. One of these days I’d love to make it to the night glow.
