My nephew has a fall break from school and so my sister thought it would be a good time to come up and visit. I’m so glad they did. Sadly though we were still busy with work, sports and school. We did get to do some fun stuff though. We of course had to make smores on the deck.

I did take a few days off and one of those days we made it up to Idaho City, it’s a bit of a ghost town. The drive up is also beautiful especially this time of year with all the colors. While we were there a lot of the places were closed, apparently they are only open in the summer and on the weekends. However we had a really nice lady let us tour a house from 1902. It was pretty cool and very well taken care of.
