I got an instant pot in October and I love it. The first thing I made was broccoli cheddar soup and it was really good. I have since made a bunch of stuff in it. I still can’t get over the fact that I can put frozen chicken breast in there and in 10 minutes I can have cooked moist chicken. Greg put a frozen roast in there a month ago and within 45 minutes it came out perfect. It’s pretty awesome. We use the heck out of it. Now I’m debating on getting an air fryer too!

Jaelee and I went on a little girls dinner to one of her favorite places, Red Robin.

Greg and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a dinner to our favorite place, Texas Roadhouse.

Jayse has had a pretty tough 5th grade year so far with bullying. We got some of it taken care of when Greg called and talked to the principal but then not even 2 weeks later he was bitten at school. He was trying to take a marker from a kid that was drawing on him and his friend and the kid bit him. We had another talk with the school and the kid received an in school suspension.

One day while the kids were home Jaelee made herself a dress. It just so happened that she made herself a dress with my nice Thanksgiving table cloth. Love her creativity and glad she put my table cloth to good use I guess.

Greg and Jayse continue to hunt for his first year and to try and get a deer. No luck this season though. It was tough. It was still pretty warm out in October and that meant the animals were still pretty high. We heard most people were striking out this year.
