We go every year to the Winter Garden a Glow at the Botanical Garden. (except last year dang it, we missed it somehow). We didn’t want to miss it this year so even though Jayse had just had his surgery 4 days prior we still wanted to go. He still couldn’t walk that great and it’s a lot of walking so Greg brought home a wheel chair for him to ride in. I think both of the kids thought this was the greatest thing ever. Jaelee begged to push her brother and Jayse loved it.

I love walking around and looking at all those lights. We went on a Sunday night and it wasn’t very busy it was also a pretty warm night. Turned out to be perfect. We bought some more glasses that make the lights show objects. We loved the gingerbread and candy cane ones.

We hiked up to the top where you can look down at all the lights. Jaelee pushed Jayse most of the way. She got tired the last 1/4 and Greg pushed him.

This year we didn’t except to go see Santa, the kids this year are iffy about him. I asked them if they wanted to go see Santa and both of them said yes but wanted to wait until the end. We didn’t wait until the end but we did go see Santa and both of them sat on his lap to tell him what they wanted. Which by the way is getting crazy. They want more and more expensive stuff. Jaelee wanted a GoPro and a huge pool. Jayse wanted a TV and a new XBox.

After Santa we walked around a bit more and then went to get our free hot chocolate and cider. Walked around a bit more and then headed home. It was a pretty perfect night.
