Saturday we went to the Mardi Gras parade. Every year I try to get out of it because it’s just long and the kids always end up getting whiny. This year was about the same except we were at the end of the parade and almost everyone was out of candy so it was even better this year (insert sarcasm). The kids did get a ton of beads though, even with that Jayse somehow got the 1 color Jaelee has been wanting for years and she cried the whole way back to the cabin over it. It didn’t matter that both Amy’s boys gave her all their beads so she had a ton! When we got back to the cabin Jayse gave Jaelee all his beads too and she was as happy as could be.

After the parade we went back to the cabin. The kids played in the snow. Greg and Hunter went to snow bike races and Amy and I hung out inside.
