This year the Daddy Daughter Dance was on the same night Jaelee’s best friend was having a birthday party that she didn’t want to miss. So instead of going to the dance her and Greg went on a date another night. Since they were going on their date Jayse and I went to dinner and a movie too.

Greg and Jaelee went to eat at their usual Red Robin. They went and saw the Lego Movie 2. Jayse and I shared a dinner and blizzard at Dairy Queen and went and saw the new How to Train a Dragon movie.

Jaelee actually let me curl her hair this year and she looked so beautiful. This is one of my favorite nights of the whole year. Love seeing her get to do this with her dad. Plus I get a date with my son. I’m thinking we should do this more than once a year.
